DOT NET VS JAVA

I had a confusion whether to choose java or dot net to study and which is more best for a student of non –IT background and also in the futuristic approach.

These are the answers which I obtained for my question?

Both dot net and java are different but both are billion dollar business.

Starting dot net and making immediate money is easy.

Java is an everlasting platform as that of IBM and Google like.

Dot net is only on Microsoft.

Doing dot net will be easy and fun for Non- IT background.

Java you need more seriousness and its very broad platform.

Java framework is original.

Microsoft Competitive will be easy for programmers.

Dot net is very easy if you have VB basics.

Database you must be familiar with SQL to use both.

Dot net is now in boom and it’s very easier to step in.

Dot net is tailored complete package for industry.

People take 6 or so months time to become familiar with java.

In case of dot net people gets familiar easy in two months time.

So, dot net can be best for non-IT background student.
